Driver/Shipping clerk wanted for gourmet gift company in Long Island City, NY. Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (overtime as needed). Delivers high quality products to our customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. Reviews and verifies invoices to ensure accuracy. Inspects delivery vehicle and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process. Determines placement of merchandise. Light data entry to maintain proof of delivery logs and records. Delivery Driver Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills; Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities; Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods and routes; Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
