Landscape laborer/ assistant position. Local gardener in the Cambridge area, with a degree in Landscaping Operations. Business growing, clientele are select. Looking for an assistant willing to work, P/T 4 days/ week, with the option of increased days. Hours are between 8 am to 5 (or 6) pm, depending on season. Candidate needs reliable transportation and experience but will train in my procedures. Responsibilities: weeding, raking, shoveling, edging, mulching, watering, sweeping as well as planting and other duties depending on experience. Requirements: • Must be 18 years old and will be a private contractor. Proof of social security # and license, or ID, will need to be provided. • Should be able to lift and carry 40+ lb. bags of soil, compost or mulch as well as physically fit to rake, shovel, grade & work with a wheelbarrow. • Willing to learn the procedures I use with my clients and dress appropriately & professionally for outdoor work in public. • Reliable transportation. Most of the jobs are in the Cambridge area. I am looking for an enthusiastic person that wants to learn and loves to work outside. I use organic practices and specialize in shade gardening.
