Job Description Performance Staffing is seeking a furniture installer in the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel regionally, have basic hand tools, and a willingness to learn. Job Details Include: Position begins after successful completion of 90 day probationary period and compliance with mandatory advancement requirements. Employee will continue to learn and follow company procedures relating to all aspects of furniture installation, including unloading deliveries, building protection, and trash removal. Key Responsibilities: • Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers. • Follow all safety regulations and use necessary judgment to prevent injuries to self and others, and avoid damaging building properties or furniture product. • Work within a team environment to efficiently complete assigned tasks. • Completes all company and D.O.T. driver control forms accurately and in a timely manner. • Checks assigned vehicle and reports any discrepancy to management immediately. • Complete any reasonable task as assigned by Supervisor or Management. Accountabilities: Always projects a positive image of SYNERGY through appearance standards and personal actions to clients and other crew members. Punctual and dependable. Qualification Standards: • Schedule availability must be flexible for any time including early morning, late night, weekends, and overnight travel. • Must have and maintain valid drivers license and have reliable transportation. • Reads and understands maps and driving directions. • Ability to accurately follow oral and written directions and instructions in English. • Stands, bends, stoops, kneels, and reaches above head during entire shift. • Lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and moves up to 50 pounds constantly throughout the day. • Works in and during all weather including heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow. • Possess and properly utilize all tools per Synergy’s required tool list. • Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings to do the following: Determine panels sizes and locations. Determine electrical symbols o Determine workstation components per drawings • Ability to properly perform the following installation duties with little or no supervision o Install panel trim (top caps, raceways, etc). Install and check electrical connectors and receptacles o Perform project wipe down / clean-up duties • Ability to properly unload product from trucks properly utilizing Synergy specified unload equipment (carts, dollies, ramps, protection, etc.) • Ability to properly break down and load a trash truck.
