Urgently hiring for: Auto Mechanic Apprentice Will assist lead mechanics with repairs and routine maintenance of customer vehicles, maintain inventory of parts and supplies. Required to keep the shop cleaned and organized, safely dispose of used fluids and oils, also store used core parts for recycling. Essential Job Functions: ● Follow an itemized checklist to perform routine maintenance ● Assist or perform full tire service, battery and minor electrical repairs, coolant and hose replacement, drive belt replacement and other mechanical work ● Keep work areas cleaned and organized, store old core parts for recycling ● Good attendance and punctuality is expected Qualifications: ● Should have a minimum of 1-year working as an apprentice, in an established automotive repair shop ● High school diploma or a GED, required ● Must have his or her own set of tools ● Have a valid driver's license ● Should speak, read and write in English (Spanish is a plus) The Auto Mechanic Apprentice, is a full time position, typical hours of operations are Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.
