I teased you about your Gucci face mask Sunday, March 21st on a southbound "D" train and it led to an amazing conversation about photography, high school and literature. You had just seen a photo exhibition at the Whitney Museum and I was stunned that you took notes as I mentioned photographers whose work you should view. We realized we had graduated from the same fine New York City high school, since you wanted to know more about my favorite teacher, whose first book was required reading at our alma mater. I am sorry I didn't give you my contact information and hope to hear back, wondering whether you found my photographic knowledge helpful. Hopefully we'll spend time talking about that and our other common interests, including the one book we both adore written by my favorite teacher.
