LEAD FLEET MECHANIC $100 SIGN ON BONUS! We are a full-service professional growing Residential and Commercial landscape company with state-of-the-art equipment seeking a Lead Fleet Mechanic We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of in house vehicles and equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. Looking for someone who is well rounded but also versed in complex mechanical and electrical systems of vehicles, small excavation and small engine equipment and has excellent problem-solving abilities. They must be good communicators to convey issues to management and be proactive at maintenance. Valid driver's license required! Skill set/duties and responsibilities Experience with repairing and maintaining a motor fleet and equipment Knowledge of landscape and small engine equipment Proficiency in mechanics - troubleshooting, repair, hydraulic systems, gasoline, diesel, basic electric, fabrication welding. Ability to document work completed and order/inventory parts and equipment Routinely perform preventative maintenance and servicing company and power equipment to minimize breakdowns and keep equipment in top shape Perform parts ordering and inventory control of common parts. Must demonstrate a solid mechanical ability to troubleshoot and make repairs or outsource repairs on vehicles, tools and equipment used in the green industry. Communicating with all personnel in regards to equipment health and repair schedules. Diagnostic troubleshooting and repair Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations. Perform other related duties as required or as directed. Skid Steer and loader and heavy machine repair is a plus. Must possess a strong mechanical skill set including knowledge of basic electrical systems, hydraulic systems, mower technology and engines, both gasoline and diesel. Fabrication welding experience. Job description subject to change based upon the company needs and demands. Knowledge of the landscape industry is a plus but not required. This is a full time position Pay $20-30 depending on skills and experience. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
