Art Instructor, Beni Holley, will walk you through the basic steps of creating a watercolor quick sketch. Get technical with watercolors! What it's all about: ✍️ 🎨 Beni defines quick sketching as simple, loose drawing done in a short amount of time. This workshop is for all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. During this class you will learn the basic techniques to quickly focus on the things that catch your eye, and complete a sketch with confidence in under 30 minutes using minimal materials. Beni will go over basic techniques such as compostion, perspective, form & more! Do you like to doodle? Have you thought about drawing but just not sure where to begin? Perhaps you are an advanced artist that would like to work with minimal equipment using the perfect technique for journaling, hiking, or just sitting in a restaurant. If you answered yes to any of these, then this class is for you! Materials List: 🖊 🎨 📖 Bring your own materials, listed below. Use our suggestions, or bring your preferred equivalent. If you have a questions about materials, please send us an inquiry to [email protected] Provided Materials:6 - 5 x 7 sheets of watercolor paperStill life objects to sketch from Needed Materials: 4x6 Strathmore 400 series drawing pad (optional) *recommend to no larger than 4x6* Sakura Koi Watercolors or Winsor Newton kit *any Pocket Field box equivalent will work (this comes with brush)* Two black ink pens 1 water soluble (will run when it gets wet) 1 water/fade resistant *recommended brands: Uniball vision fine tip - permanent, water resistant Uniball vision Elite or Razor Pilot - water soluble (runs when wet)
