RIDES I'm worried about my skill/fitness level. What say you? Congratulations. You are officially in the club with almost every person who has ever signed up for our events. It is totally normal to be a little worried about your fitness or skill level - but please don't be! It breaks our friggin' hearts when we hear, "I was going to sign up, but I was worried I wouldn't be good enough." Don't be that person that breaks our hearts! What is the riding going to be like? Our ride location offers the perfect combinations of terrain to challenge riders of all skill levels and abilities. Don't fret - we always make sure everyone feels confident and comfortable in their designated ride group & route, and you can opt to ride as little or as much as you want! If you are concerned about the difficulty of trails, please contact us at [email protected] I'm a beginner rider, can I come? YES! We welcome riders of all skill and experience levels. I'm an advanced/expert rider, should I come? Hell yes! We always have expert riders at our events. We promise not to make you coach anyone or ride with the newbies. There are wicked challenging trails that we will make sure you have access to so you can get your shred on. GEAR Do I need my own bike? No. You will be assigned a personalized Specialized demo bike for the event unless one isn't available in your size. Do I need to bring my own pedals? No. We have flats, SPD, & crankbros demo pedals. We recommend riding flats, but if you usually clip in, we can adjust our pedals to your tension preference. LOGISTICS Will the Rally happen if it's raining? Yes. We will ride rain or shine. Organizers will reschedule the event if the weather is too nasty or riding will damage the trails. Do I need to bring my own food and beverages? Trail nutrition, lunch, and post-ride snacks will be provided, along with beer, water, and NUUN hydration. We are happy to accommodate allergies, gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan/vegetarian preferences. GENERAL I always ride with my husband/boyfriend/platonic man friend, can he just come and hangout? Hard no. Sorry fellas, ladies only. We really can’t risk catching your sidekick's cooties at the event. Can I bring my dog? Or my kid? What if my dog is basically my kid? We love our babies and fur babies, but please leave Fido and little Tommy Jr. at home. Imagine the chaos if 15 ladies brought their 12 kids and 27 dogs to our ride! What should I bring? What is the schedule? Can you give me more details? Scroll back up and re-read details on these topics. Please feel free to e-mail us if you have any additional questions.
