Help with EPC light on car

I just bought a used 2001 Volkswagen Beetle and the second day of driving it, the epc light keeps going on and off. It seems like once the car is warmed up for awhile it will go off, but it barely goes when it is on. Is there a mechanic out there that can help me? I really don't have a lot of money after buying the car, I don't know how to fix it and I am trying to get it registered and everything as well. If someone has a good heart and can look at it, I would be truly thankful and god bless. Please serious replies only
