Shevlin Sand and Gravel is currently hiring a full-time truck driver for our NW Bend location. This position is temporary and will most likely last through June. Job duties include: *Hauling and placing construction materials for contractors and homeowners in Bend and surrounding areas. *Chain-spreading base rock for driveways. *Experience with 10 wheel standard end dumps required. *Must have mechanical knowledge, with the ability to recognize issues and report them for maintenance. *No weekends/M-F only (7:00-4:00) Qualifications include but are not limited to: *Knowledge of Bend and surrounding area. *Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience. *Ability to drive safely and efficiently. *Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees. *Ability to maintain positive interactions under stressful situations. *Ability to perform basic maintenance and reporting needed repairs. *Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
