I don’t know what it is but there are so many scammers right now!! If you contact someone about an animal via email (they usually ask you to send your phone number and scam you through text)  please  pay attention to the way they text.. you can tell that they’re from a different country and they don’t know our language very well.   RED FLAGS to watch for when communicating with anyone  - if they mention anything about codes, - if they tell you they’re having difficulty reaching your specific number and ask you to send a different phone number  - or text you “are you there” Any of that is not normal and 100% scam do not fall for it I have encountered 20+ scammers over the past month. mainly scams about rehoming reptiles but for dogs as well please please please pay attention and report them immediately if you do come across a scammer
