For consideration, please apply online at. Description The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for inventory control for both incoming and outgoing stock as well as the overall upkeep of the stockroom. The stockroom clerk will ensure an accurate inventory by performing duties such as; cycle counts, physical inventory counts, picking parts for work and sales orders, receiving incoming parts from various departments. This position will be responsible for maintaining an organized stockroom, maintaining an accurate inventory and completing accurate data entry to ensure sufficient stock levels. Essential Duties & Functions: Completes all assigned duties and responsibilities in adherence with Tri Tool's core values. Receive, monitors and stocks incoming parts from outside vendors, shop floor, Inspection, Assembly, and R&D Departments. Pick parts for work orders for Assembly, Shop & R&D. Pick parts for sales orders for outgoing shipments. Responsible for accurate data entry and processing of orders in system. Keep stockroom area clean and organized with stock labeled accurately. Perform periodic cycle counts, audits, and participate in annual inventory processes. Responsible for the accuracy of inventory counts, cycle counting and physical inventory experience. Will cross train into other areas for department back-up as needed. Must be able to safely drive forklift, use pallet jacks, and operate cranes or other equipment to move stock as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; position requires pushing and pulling of heavy carts. Experience with Syteline software program a plus. Serve as a back-up for Shipping/Receiving when required. Serve as a back-up for Saw room when required. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements/Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required with; 1-2 years of experience in inventory processing; Knowledge and experience with inventory counts, cycle counting and physical inventory experience; Must be able to safely drive forklift, use pallet jacks, and operate cranes or other equipment to move stock as needed; Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Position requires lifting and moving of stock and pushing/pulling of heavy carts; Attention to detail and the ability to accurately work with numbers; Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment; Clear communication skills to effectively communicate with team and customers; Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and equipment to carry out assigned duties. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds without assistance; Lifting/Moving anything over 50 pounds must be assisted. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required for personal protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; stoop, squat, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to safely use hand tools, power tools, large equipment, and maintenance materials. Must be able to use office equipment such as computers, multi-line phones, scanners, copiers, and paper cutters.
