Leland Lawn, a leader of quality lawn care and landscaping on the Palouse, is looking to expand its team! We are hiring for the positions of Lawn Care Technicians and Landscaping Technicians! We are looking for candidates who enjoy working outdoors in a team oriented environment, have positive attitudes and are looking to establish a career with our company. Must be organized, reliable, attentive to detail, have good communication skills, has a strong work ethic, able to give directions and take directions, able to operate or ability to learn to operate various equipment. A wide variety of landscaping/lawn care experience is preferred, but not required! Primary duties will include landscaping commercial and residential properties using hand or power tools and equipment and materials. Workers will perform a variety of tasks, including any combination of the following: mowing/trimming, yard clean ups, lawn & landscape equipment/trailer operation, sod laying, planting, digging, raking, sprinkler installation, retention walls, trenching, bed installation, along with other landscaping/lawn care related tasks. Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs, walk for over 5 miles per day on various terrain, and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Cannot have major allergies to plant/dust or bee/wasp stings. Must be timely, have a current driver's license and have reliable means of getting to work. Must be available full time Monday through Friday. Our work day usually starts 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Due to the seasonality of our work, you will work with other company crews performing various other landscape/lawn care maintenance related services and some overtime may be required. This position may include work for the 2021-2022 winter season. Pay is $14.00+ per hour, depending on experience. There will be a 90 day probationary period. Job Type: Full-time
