Get a bike safety check up.Navigate a fun bike courseFree helmets with fitting **while supplies last**Community bike ride and more Children and their parents are invited to attend and learn about bike and pedestrian safety with a little fun on two wheels. No bike? No problem! Come learn about pedestrian safety. Bicycling has become a high commodity since the onset of the global pandemic, but understanding safety first is the key to staying safe and having fun! Children accompanied by their parents will visit various stations for a review of bicycle safety rules, a bicycle safety check and be checked for a properly fitted helmet. Then they will put the knowledge they gained to the test by riding a mock course. If a child does not have a bike helmet or the one they have does not fit properly, they will receive one from Bike Cleveland. Community bike ride will show case various fix it stations within the community to support minor bicycle needs. The fix it station includes all the tools necessary to perform basic bike repairs and maintenance from changing a tire to making minor adjustments. This event is an opportunity to provide the community a way to actively engage and get outside, be active while informing those of some of the things they can do to prevent injuries while riding a bike.
