Press release from the City of Waukesha: March 9, 2021 The City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department (WPRF) announces registration for the Duck! Rabbit! Family Adventure Walk is now open. The walk will take place on Sat., March 20, 2021 in Frame Park. The Adventure Walk, part of the Building Brighter Futures campaign, coincides with the first day of spring and will feature activity stations around the Frame Park trail. Pre-registration is required $40 per family/group of five or $20 per individual and includes all activities. "This event is a fun way to celebrate Spring while helping others as the proceed from this event will support the WPRF Financial Assistance Fund that enable accessibility and affordability for all," said Recreation Services Manager, Mary Berg. The 1.7-mile adventure walk stations include: reading of the Duck! Rabbit! book with a copy for each family to take home, a seek and find challenge to receive a sweet treat, a duck and rabbit petting station, duck races that include a take home duck, design your own bunny ears challenge, animal shelter build, bunny jumping challenges, duck call stop with your own take home "quacker," staring your own Peter Rabbit egg carton garden, and more.
