Description

Greenfield, WI —The Greenfield Police Department (GPD) took to social media Sunday seeking the public's help in identifying two criminals caught on multiple surveillance cameras making purchases with stolen credit and debit cards. Police said the credit and debit cards and some wallets had been reported stolen from vehicles on the east end of the city. "Fortunately for investigators, these two gentlemen went on a spending spree with these cards where each location had cameras," the GPD wrote on Facebook. In the video posted on Facebook, the two men are seen trying out multiple credit cards while purchasing cigarettes at a convenience store or gas station. Police asked for anybody who recognizes the two men, and has information like their names, birthdays and addresses, to contact the department at 414-761-5300. Callers should ask for officer David Meyer and reference case 21-4688. If officer Meyer is unavailable, police said callers should provide the information to another officer, and they will make sure it's passed along to Meyer.
