GREENFIELD, WI —The City of Greenfield and a number of community partners will begin offering services to people who are facing challenges like homelessness, food insecurity and addiction. Beginning Tuesday March 2, and every Tuesday thereafter, City of Greenfield Collective Outreach will offer services for those in need between 10 a.m. and noon at the Salvation Army MKE Cold Spring, 2900 W. Cold Spring Rd. According to a release, the services that will be provided, include: addiction and recovery resources with on-site peer recovery specialists, harm reduction resources, a free food pantry and connections to services and resources for those experiencing homelessness. Among those collaborating with the City of Greenfield on the program are: Greenfield Fire-Rescue, the Greenfield Health Department, the Greenfield Police Department, the Salvation Army, Street Angels, Inc. Milwaukee Outreach and Clean Slate Outpatient Addiction Medicine Street Angels wrote on Facebook about the program: "If you or anyone you know could benefit from these resources, please share and/or attend.
