SUMMARY OF THE SUMMARY: Performs various work/tasks focus on Housekeeping. SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Including the following (other duties may be assigned): • Follow company policies and safety rules • Maintain a clean & organized line area including: • Learn to use a variety of custodial equipment, supplies and cleaning materials • Breaking down cardboard boxes • Good condition of floors around and underneath conveyor lines along all four zones • Ability to distinguish good product from damaged product and place in proper locations • Disposing of plastic, cardboard and other types of debris • Maintaining walkways clear of any debris • Work independently in the absence of supervision; understand and follow oral directions. Adhere to all safety guidelines including the proper use of gloves and box cutters • Assist with the enforcement of Company Safety Policies. • Integration with all requirements of Safety Department • Ability to interact as necessary with other team members and departments • Other Jobs as Directed JOB REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of: • Company Safety Guidelines • Products to the point of being able to discern correctness, weights, and measurements. • Appropriate personal hygiene. • Desired High School Diploma preferred or 9th through 12th grade. - Ability to communicate effectively, self-starter, follow instruction, open minded punctual, team player and tolerant. - Knowledge of company safety polices. - Prefer history in sanitation and janitorial type work. - Position requires above average amount of walking, standing, pulling, pushing, bending, and hand dexterity. Fast paced temperature variations in a warehouse environment, above average amount of walking, light lifting and working under time deadlines. Must be able to lift at least 35lbs.
