SUMMARY OF THE SUMMARY MATERIAL HANDLERS: Responsible for ensuring the organic materials flow through the shakers, informs the heavy equipment operator to fill the shakers, performs housekeeping duties which include scraping, sweeping and shoveling, stacking bags, and assists where necessary at the direction of the JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR MATERIAL HANDLERS: • Company Safety Guidelines • Appropriate personal hygiene. • Desired High School Diploma preferred or 9th through 12th grade. - Ability to communicate effectively, self-starter, follow instruction, open minded punctual, team player and tolerant. - Knowledge of company safety polices. - Must be able to lift 50 lbs. - Position requires above average amount of walking, standing, pulling, pushing, bending, and hand dexterity. Fast paced temperature variations in a warehouse environment, above average amount of walking, light lifting and working under time deadlines.. SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MATERIAL HANDLERS • Maintains the flow through the shakers by poking the material to break it up to prevent bridging • Maintains the finishing screens by scraping them to insure the product flows through it • Performs housekeeping duties to insure the material does not accumulate under the conveyors, aisle ways and cat-walks by following safety practices to avoid injuries • Meets quality and quantity standards • Informs the maintenance personnel of any equipment problems in which they may encounter • Assists with small bag line operations as needed • Assists with restacking pallets and clean-up as needed SCHEDULE & PAY RATE OF A LOADER & UNLOADER: $15.00 1st shift M-F with overtime as needed For immediate consideration apply online at: Resource is an Equal Opportunity Employer EEO AA M/F/Vet/Disability and a drug free workplace.
