Description
RENTON, WA — Prepare your appetites, Renton. Chick-fil-A opens Thursday at Renton Center, adding to the beloved chicken chain's growing roster of Western Washington locations. Starting March 25, the Renton restaurant, located at 375 Rainier Avenue South, will be open for drive-thru visits, curbside pickup and mobile carry-out orders Monday through Saturday, between 6:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. Delivery via third-party apps will be available shortly after opening day.
Guests can also place orders online or through Chick-fil-A's official app.
In a news release, Chick-fil-A said its Renton outpost is owned and operated by Erik Lee, a first-generation immigrant from a Taiwanese family and raised in Atlanta. Lee got his first Chick-fil-A job during his time at the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in marketing. He expects to employ 150 full-time and part-time workers.
Forgoing the company's traditional "First 100" grand opening during the pandemic, the Renton Chick-fil-A will instead surprise 100 local heroes with a free year of food and donate $25,000 to Feeding America's efforts to feed those in need in King County.
