TACOMA, WA — There are no slots remaining for an upcoming COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Tacoma Dome.
The clinic, hosted by the Tacoma - Pierce County Health Department, started with about 4,000 slots for Wednesday and Thursday. As of 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday has filled up, but there are still around 500 appointment slots available for Thursday.
You can sign up now or reach out to anyone you know who's searching.— Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department (@TPCHD) March 8, 2021 Anyone who lives or works in Pierce County, and is eligible to receive the vaccine, can register for an appointment at piercecountywa.gov/vaccine. The vaccine is free, and there is no insurance required.
Applicants must, however, be in Phases 1A or 1B1 of the state's vaccination plan.
That includes:
Health care workers.Medical first responders.Teachers.Residents and staff of long-term care facilities.Anyone 65 and older.Residents 50 or older and who live in a multigenerational household. You can register to receive email alerts about new clinics by visiting TPCHD's website. Just check the box marked "COVID-19 community vaccination events" under the News header.
