2. Functional Role
• Completes assigned tasks with accuracy, and efficiently with daily communication with other Crew Personnel, and Landscape Foreman.
• Every effort is made to ensure customers are satisfied and develops profits for the company
3. Authority
• Manage 1-2 additional employees
• Major role in daily job site and personnel decisions, while acting in the best interest of the company.
4. Reporting Relationships
• Reports to Landscape Foreman
• Direct communication with other Crew Personnel
• Manage other landscape techs as assigned
5. Responsibilities/Expectations
• Closely monitors and sets up daily projects for your crew
• Daily job assignments for personnel on your crew
• Train (as directed) and monitor your crew regarding company safety policies and procedures
• Daily job prep, setup, and tracking of materials and employee time records
• 35-55 hours per week, depending on work load.
6. Required Skills
• Have knowledge of multiple aspects of day to day landscaping and lawn enhancement and installation
• Basic knowledge of smart-phone app use
• Must be physically able to perform all aspects of landscaping installations
• Ability to operate most landscaping equipment
7. Required Education, Training & Experience
• Preferred 3 years of landscaping experience
• Knowledge of landscaping equipment, and its capacity and capabilities
• Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record
8. Measurements of Performance
This position is evaluated on the following factors:
• Crew efficiency and scorecards
• Customer satisfaction
• Care for assigned tools and equipment
• Crew safety
• Adherence to company Core Values
• Full completion of assigned jobs (no loose ends)
