Functional Role • Leads and coordinates Landscaping Crews (including Lawn Enhancements) with daily communication with Crew Leads, Design/Estimating, and Field Manager. • Run your own Landscaping Crew on a daily basis 3. Authority • Major role in daily job site and personnel decisions, while acting in the best interest of the company. • Manages Landscaping Crew Leads and Laborers 4. Reporting Relationships • Reports to Field Manager • Direct communication with Design/Estimating as needed • Give direction directly to Crew Personnel in Landscape Division 5. Responsibilities/Expectations • Manage and set up projects for Landscape Division • Oversee multiple active projects • Collaborate with Field Manager and Customer Service regarding scheduling • Train Crew Personnel in all aspects of landscaping installation • Train, supervise, and monitor safety policies and procedures • Work to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget (labor and materials) • Reports all possible change orders to Field Manager • Assist as needed with job tracking along with efficiency and profitability analysis • Assist in identifying purchasing efficiencies • 40-55 hours per week, depending on work load. 6. Required Skills • Have knowledge of all aspects of day to day landscaping and lawn enhancement installation • Good communication skills (written and verbal) • General knowledge of smart phone apps and basic computer skills • Must be physically able to perform all aspects of landscaping installations • Able to read and implement (personally or via crew leads) scaled designs and blue prints • Ability to operate equipment used in all landscaping and enhancement operations 7. Required Education, Training & Experience • Minimum of 3-5 years landscaping experience • Team management experience • Must have detailed knowledge of all landscaping equipment, and its capacity and capabilities • Must have valid driver’s license with a good driving record 8. Measurements of Performance This position is evaluated on the following factors: • Crew efficiency and scorecards • Customer satisfaction • Care for tools and equipment • Crew safety • Adherence to company Core Values • Full completion of assigned jobs (no loose ends) • Efficient use of material inventory
