Press release from the City of Gig Harbor: March 26, 2021 Roadway closures for the project will occur in multiple phases. The "partial" (or southbound or uphill) Stinson Ave closure and detour for the first phase of the project is identified on the map (below) and is expected to be in place for approximately one month. This closure will occur between the hours of 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday thru Friday. The project will construct a new compact roundabout at the Rosedale/Stinson intersection, reconstruct the intersection at Grandview/Stinson, pedestrian improvements along Stinson, and a pavement overlay of Stinson from Grandview to Rosedale.
