BELLEVUE, WA — The Factoria Recycling and Transfer Station was fully evacuated Wednesday after workers reported a suspicious package at the facility. The Bellevue Police Department confirmed the incident in a brief social media post shortly after 3 p.m., saying the bomb squad was headed to the scene to examine the package.
Just before 5:30 p.m., the department shared a video of the bomb squad detonating two pipe bombs. Police said both devices were homemade and discovered by employees who quickly notified police.
