Greenspring Farms is looking for a Social Media Intern that is passionate about the food, health and sustainability and is looking to support our growing marketing and operation team. We are an algae farm dedicated to creating innovative food products that support vibrant and vital living. The ideal applicant will be energetic, self-motivated, and will have strong organizational skills. This paid internship will be an opportunity to gain social media, marketing, and influencer relations experience in a fast-paced, start-up environment in Brentwood, California (94513). You will: Create a bank of social and video content, video preferred. Contribute to the content calendar with social media postings on a weekly and monthly basis Monitor analytics with the team to identify viable ideas, trends, and growth patterns Participate in brainstorms to share ideas, define strategy and be instrumental in bringing them to life Maintain and develop relationships within desired digital communities Assist with on farm packaging and shipping Who you are: Creative and multidimensional human that loves to tell a good story through photos, videos, and words Proficient in relevant social channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and other emerging channels A quick thinker and problem solver Possess excellent writing and critical thinking skills Interested in Marketing, Social Media, PR or Influencer Marketing High school graduate Communications, journalism, marketing majors Interested in wellness, food, and/or sustainability Bonus Points: Video editing Digital design 25-35 hours a week. Pay range: 15-18p/h. We are willing to work around a school schedule. Mostly remote work with 2 afternoons per week on-farm time required.
