PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — The Prince William Health District has spent the first months of 2021 administering the coronavirus vaccine to as many residents as possible. However, supplies are limited, and many residents are left wondering when and how they will receive the vaccine. Across Prince William County, including the cities of Manassas and Manassas Park, 61,773 people have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. 33,044 people have been fully vaccinated as of Monday morning, according to the Virginia vaccine dashboard. Where to get the vaccine in Prince William County Vaccine clinic locations are constantly changing in Prince William County based on vaccine availability, available space, and the needs of residents in different areas of the county. Currently, the Prince William Health District operates its own vaccine clinics, and some pharmacies in the area offer their own vaccinations through a partnership with the federal government. All vaccinations in Prince William County are by appointment only; no walk-ins are accepted. Beacon Hall, 10945 George Mason Circle, Manassas, VA 20110, on the Manassas Campus of George Mason University.The Beacon Hall clinic is operated by the Prince William Health District. This week, the clinic will administer first doses and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are made through the state's pre-registration list. Manassas Mall, 8300 Sudley Rd, Manassas, VA 20109The clinic is located in the main mall corridor. The closest entrance is marked "Manassas Mall" between Uptown Alley and Macy's. Take a right and the clinic is in the first storefront on the left. The Manassas Mall clinic will administer second doses this week and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are made through the state's pre-registration list. Safeway, 12821 Braemar Village Plaza, Bristow, VA, 20136 The Safeway clinic is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic offers first doses on Mondays and Fridays. They administer second doses on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Eligible residents can schedule an appointment on Safeway's website. Safeway, 4240 Merchant Plaza, Woodbridge, VA 22192 The Safeway clinic is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic offers first doses on Mondays and Fridays. They administer second doses on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Eligible residents can schedule an appointment on Safeway's website. CVSCVS locations in Woodbridge, Manassas, and Manassas Park are offering the coronavirus vaccine. Their appointments are fully booked as of March 8th, but their website notes that availability can change quickly. Gander Mountain (vaccines administered by Walmart), 14011 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge, VA 22192This clinic is open from Wednesday to Saturday this week, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are made through the state's pre-registration list as a pilot program. Who is eligible? Virginia is currently in Phase 1b of their vaccine rollout plan. Eligible groups include healthcare workers, essential frontline workers, people aged 65 and older, and those with underlying medical conditions.
