Description

TYSONS, VA — Sameday Health, a COVID-19 testing provider in Tysons and other locations around the U.S., is now offering the COVID-19 vaccine to people on the Fairfax County Health Department's waitlist. Vaccinations began this week at Sameday Health's Tysons location, a parking lot at 1981 Chain Bridge Road. This is the same location offering PCR and rapid testing. In a few weeks, the location will transition from a testing and vaccination site to solely a vaccination site. Sameday Health's Tysons drive-thru location is one of the options available to people eligible in phases 1a and 1b who are on the Fairfax County Health Department's waitlist. Other locations for people on the waitlist include health department clinics, Inova, My Dr's Pharmacy, Kaiser Permanente, George Mason University, Union Mill Pediatrics, Xcel Urgent Care, Giant, Wegmans, and Trusted Doctors. As one of Sameday Health's largest sites, the drive-thru location has the capacity to vaccinate thousands of people each day. The location is available by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. Sameday Health opened vaccinations at its Old Town Alexandria location earlier this month. The 309 South Washington Street is available as a scheduling option to people on the Alexandria Health Department's wait list.
