Symmetrical Landscapes, a small but growing business, is looking for a full time employee for spring through fall. Part-time in winter. Our business is going on our 4th year and in the peak season we have only 2 employees plus the owner/operator. Finding an employee to grow with us and who enjoys the outdoors and plants would be great to have!! Landscaping or gardening experience wanted and needed. One year or more of experience needed. Pay is $20 per hour for 1 year of experience or more. With no landscaping or gardening experience $18 per hour will be paid. Requirements are as follows. Being on time, all employees need a car to drive to clients houses, must be able to lift heavy equipment and debris, (50 to 100 pounds at times)works hard, works efficiently, understands this is a labor position, takes breaks without being supervised, can work alone and follows directions from boss. Skills wanted are as follows. A good understanding of plant species. A good understanding of how to take care of, fertilize, prune, hedge, transplant and plant different species of plants. Common types of work as follows: weeding, mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, barking, hedging, planting, fertilizing, lawn care, pavers, tree pruning, some hardscapes.
