Waldron Designs is an award-winning design-build firm on Vashon Island. Our focus is on sustainable and healthy interior renovations and builds. We currently have a position for Job Site Lead. The right candidate will be well-versed in all construction methodologies and be able to coordinate a team of different disciplines to achieve the best results Summary of Key Responsibilities: Understand blueprint drawings and written specifications. As well as change orders, work orders and other construction-related paperwork. Perform rough and finish carpentry to the company’s standard of quality and according to the plans Install cabinets and trim, doors, and windows. Interact positively and collaboratively with the Homeowner and Design Team. Able to meet and work with building inspectors-Ensure jobsite safety, Maintain a safe jobsite.-Install dust protection and weather protection. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: The ability to read and understand construction documents Experience with all phases rough and finish carpentry Good communication skills Computer literate Neat appearance, Reliable vehicle, preferably truck or van Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 60 lbs.
