Woodinville nursery is seeking a Part Time Delivery Driver for daily local deliveries and occasional shipments to Canada. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record is required. Responsibilities include: - Keeping current and up to date trip logs and ability to adhere to DOT Service Regulations - Occasional overnight stays while doing long distance pickups in Oregon - Confirming shipment schedules with vendors and customers - Helping load and unload truck for deliveries - Following oral and written instructions. - To perform mid to heavy manual labor and work outdoors in varying weather conditions - The ability to cross the border and deal with customs paperwork Employee will be required to work in a diverse working environment. Planning and organizational skills are necessary as applicant will be responsible for loading trucks for multiple deliveries. Applicants must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100lb and have the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend over, and/or lift for extended periods in the performance of job duties for this position. Plant knowledge is preferred but not needed. A background in customer service is a plus. Passport or enhanced license is required for deliveries to Canada. Pay is DOE.
