AnnaSea Foods Group is hiring General Laborers who are motivated self-starters, enjoys a fast paced environment and is capable of working independently or in a team environment! Nature of the Work consists of a variety of tasks but are not limited to: Use knives, cleavers or other equipment to cut, clean, and grade salmon and tuna Separate fish and byproducts into specified containers and seal containers. Weighing and boxing seafood products. Guiding product into automated machinery and cleaning or sanitizing work area. Performs the cleaning of surfaces (floors, ceilings, equipment, etc.) in the entire production floor; including internal parts and surfaces of machinery and equipment. Disposes of fish wastes and scraps in designated areas. Uses a variety of cleaning tools such as floor brushes, scratch pads, brushes during the normal course of a work shift. Works in a safe manner at all times. Work repetitively with hands, wrists and elbows while standing for up to 12 hours per day. Work in conditions that may be cold, wet, and noisy. Education & Experience: Must have a basic understanding of the English language, including the ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions. Able to work with seafood, including various types of fish and shellfish. Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds on a regular basis. Prompt and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job. Must be willing and able to work in confined quarters in a multi-cultural environment.
