FREDERICKSBURG, VA — People aged 60-69 are still leading the way in vaccines administered in Fredericksburg and Stafford County, according to the most recent data from the Rappahannock Area Health District. The 70s age group has the most people who are fully vaccinated. The Rappahannock Area Health District, like the rest of Virginia, is working on vaccinating people in Phase 1b of the state's vaccine rollout plan. This includes frontline essential workers, people over the age of 65, and those with underlying medical conditions. The Rappahannock Area Health District operates vaccine clinics in different areas in the region on different days of the week. All vaccines are being offered by appointment only to those who are pre-registered on the state's waitlist. On Mondays, the health district operates a vaccine clinic in Caroline County. On Tuesdays, they operate a clinic in Fredericksburg. On Wednesdays, the clinic is in Spotsylvania County. On Thursdays, it's in Stafford County.
