April 30, 2021 <p style="text-align: center Walpurgisnacht!Friday, April 30, 202112:00 pm - 9:00 pmSpring Medieval Celebration in Camp Reinberg, Palatine, IL THIS IS THE WITCH'S DANCE REGISTRATION PAGE. If you are not dancing with the witches, you will need to purchase a ticket to the event at this link. Witches Dance Information: Witches need to pre-register on this page, to join in the dance and receive free entry to the event.Come dressed as your favorite witch.Bring a decorated broom to dance with.Bring the receipt/confirmation of pre-registration from this page with you, so we know that you are pre- registered. Bring your ID with you also.Be rehearsed in the dance and ready to join us by 7:00 pm. Here is the link to the Dance Tutorial.Witches are also a part of the short theater skit between the May Queen and the Witches/Devil as the introduction to the dance. Please remember to bring a mask. You may take it off during the dance.When: The event takes place on Thursday, April 30, between 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm The Witches dance schedule is as follows: 5:00 Arrive and check in at the ticket table. You will receive a "script" for the evening when you have checked in. 6:00 Gathering of the witches - by the fire pit for the count and placing. 6:30 The witches introduction act begins. 7:00 Witches dance begins - we do the entire song 1 time through. After the dance is finished you are free to continue enjoying the event. Thank you for your participation! We look forward to getting to know you and having fun dancing for the audience! Special note: There are no free tickets for family members or guests to come in with you. Only the dressed participating witch gets in free. Witches can be male or female. ***NOTE*** Due to COVID, for this year's event, the forest preserve has put a cap limit of 50 people who can attend the event.
