This precious petite girl has had a horrible, lonely life up to this point. Very little- Only 29 lbs. She was kept on a chain her entire life with no love or attention. She was discarded with her ribs and spine showing. Her elbows show signs of laying on concrete all her life After looking at her teeth the Vet said her teeth are worn down from chewing on a chain all day from hunger and boredom. I do a little rescue work out of my home ( Mostly pit rescue ) I saw her at the shelter last month and my heart could not take it. I had to get her out of there and find a good home for her. I took her home and have been nursing her back to health over the last 4 weeks. Now she is beautiful and so happy to have love! Slowly putting on weight. She craves attention so bad and she will follow you like a puppy or a shadow. :-) She is over the top affectionate. Lap dog for sure. Gives kisses and snuggles. Vet guessed she is Approx 7 to 8 years old but she acts and looks like a pup. Unique Speckled Face. :-) She slept in her own soft dog bed for the first time in her life and she was in Heaven. She did fine with my large Male Pit. She did fine with my small female chihuahua. She would not do well in a home with a large female dog as she gets jealous of other big girl dogs. In a home without other animals she calmer and super affectionate. If you are looking to give love to a dog that has never had it please visit this girl. I can even meet you so you can visit with her. No obligation of course. People have to get a chance to spend time with a dog to see if it is a good fit. Ps. Although she LOVES all humans she is a good little watch dog and alerts you if a stranger comes to your house.
