DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents are asked not put away those blue bulbs quite yet. Two weeks after residents lit up neighborhoods in "Danvers Blue" bulbs in honor of the heroes, victims, hope and sorrow of the coronavirus health crisis, town officials are asking them to consider doing it against for autism awareness month. April 2 is National Autism Awareness Day. The month is designed to seek research into ways to help improve the quality of life of those with autism and seek support for research. Residents are also encourage to participate in the #LearnWithKindness initiative for schools to celebrate and support acceptance, understanding and inclusion with daily acts of kindness as well as share infographics on social media to help educate your family and friends about autism.
