Join us for our monthly Comedy series hosted by Dan Pyatetsky featuring Fahim Anwar, Dylan Sullivan, Tai Nguyen, & Leonarda Jonie. Dear Pershing Supporters! Please aid us in our efforts to continue providing great experiences in our event space in a safe, COVID-conscious way. In order for us to continue providing entertainment, we need your help supporting these local artists. Here are some highlights on what to expect. No Crowds, Safety First! We have created a very small offering that includes 15 seated areas and a maximum of 50 people in the gallery. This leaves us operating at 40% percent capacity in the gallery. Seated areas are available in a range of options starting with 2 guests up to an 8 person lounge. Clean Air! We've installed state-of-the-art UV lights in all of our HVAC systems providing us with clean air that is constantly being purified so you can breathe easy. Masks & Temperature Checks Although our governor has decided to lift the mask mandate Pershing is committed to the safety of our guests, musicians, and staff. Masks are required to enter the property at which time we will also make sure you are not running a fever. Aside from that, our rules are fairly simple. If you're not sitting in your lounge we ask that you wear your mask, this includes using the restroom, ordering from the bar, and entering/exiting the property. About the Show. One Love Comedy Show brings the best standup comedians in Austin to Pershing every month. Our first show includes comics from Comedy Central, Showtime, Conan, Late Night with Seth Myers, and the Joe Rogan Experience. This month we are headlined by Fahim Anwar. Off the momentum of his one hour special THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, The New York Times listed Fahim as a "Most Promising Future Star." He's appeared on CONAN, LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. His recent FILM/TV credits include WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, NEIGHBORS, DRUNK HISTORY, CARMICHAEL SHOW and SUPERIOR DONUTS to name a few. Fahim served as head writer and starred on a sketch show special for Comedy Central with his comedy group (GOATFACE) which includes Hasan Minhaj from THE DAILY SHOW. Off the success of the sketch show special, Fahim was named by Variety Magazine as one of 2019 Comics to Watch, and was invited to be a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast as well as WTF with Marc Maron.
