All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-03290115, 400 block of 23rd Street S. At approximately 2:59 p.m. on March 29, police were dispatched to the report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that Suspect One entered a convenience store and went behind the counter where he was confronted by an employee. Suspect One allegedly implied he had a weapon and stole several cartons of cigarettes. The investigation determined that Suspect Two remained outside and allegedly acted as a lookout. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot. Responding officers located Suspect One at the Pentagon City Metro Station and Suspect Two at the Crystal City Metro Station. Tyrone Thomas, 18, of Washington, MD, was arrested and charged with Robbery and Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. He was held without bond. Antonio Jones, 21, of Capital Heights, MD, was arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit a Felony. He was also served with an outstanding warrant from the Arlington County Sheriff's Office. He was held without bond. UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-03290146, 1300 block of S. Barton Street. At approximately 4:58 p.m. on March 29, police were dispatched to the report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, it was determined that approximately 25 minutes prior to contacting police, the victim was inside her residence when she heard the handle to the front door shaking. The victim looked out the window and saw the unknown suspect trying the knob. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30 to 40 years old, 6'2" to 6'3" tall with a skinny build, wearing a jean jacket with a light green or beige hoodie underneath, and light colored jeans.
