Cabinet Installer (Commercial) Job Responsibilities include: • Read and interpret drawings and blueprint specifications • Travel to job sites and install various custom-built workspaces, countertops, displays • Measure and mark for product installation • Trim, cut, fill, seal and level during installation • Perform various hanging, adjusting, fastening tasks to complete installation work • Safely operate various pieces of equipment and tools • Pickup and clean work area after completion • Become familiar with three different departments: Top Shop, Custom and Lay up • Work with team to become cross trained in each area • Read and understand blueprints for assembly of cabinets, counter tops, desks and other products produced on site • Utilize the following types of tools: table saw, drill press, miter saw, band saw, drill, biscuit joiner, built sander, routers, files, drills and tape measures (this is not an exhaustive list of woodworking tools that will be used) • Cut product to meet blueprint specifications • Learn how to adhere banding to finish edges to meet quality standards • Become proficient in the use of larger machines such as: CNC (wood products), Industrial Belt Sander, Lay Up Machine and Spray Station • Written/verbal communication with project manager to ensure the job is prepped/completed per scope of work
