WILLIAMSON COUNTY, TX — Essential workers and anyone over 80-years-old will be able to receive the first COVID-19 dose without an appointment on Monday. Family Hospital Systems will offer the first dose of the Moderna vaccine at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, 10211 W Parmer Lane, until 8 p.m. Monday, officials said. Essential workers include teachers, plumbers, electricians, and grocery store workers. Officials said you do not need to be a Williamson County resident to get vaccinated at Kelly Reeves. Health officials are asking people to head out as early as possible to avoid a rush during the evening. The state's new centralized website can register through various vaccine providers and is available at getthevaccine.dshs.texas.gov.
