ROUND ROCK, TX — A car wreck has forced the closure of eastbound Sam Bass Road until further notice, officials said. Round Rock police took to Twitter around 1 p.m. Monday to alert residents about the closure near the southbound Interstate Highway 35 frontage road. The frontage road turnaround lanes under the interstate at Sam Bass Road are also closed. The road closure is a result of a wreck involving an 18-wheeler, police said. Eastbound Sam Bass Road is shut down near the southbound IH-35 frontage road due to a wreck involving an 18-wheeler. The frontage road turnaround lanes under IH-35 at Sam Bass are also closed.
