ROUND ROCK, TX — The Round Rock Police Department will increase its police presence during spring break and St. Patrick's Day, officials said. The department said officers will be focused on speeding, aggressive driving, and impaired driving from Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 21. Officers will patrol all Round Rock roadways with an emphasis on highways and high traffic streets, authorities said. "By addressing unsafe drivers, the roads will be safer for everyone else," police said. The agency's Traffic Unit includes its Motorcycle Unit, DWI Unit, and Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit – all of which will be involved in this initiative. The RRPD Traffic Unit will have an increased presence on Round Rock roadways this Spring Break.
