STAMFORD, CT — An area resident is $30,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket this week in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On Tuesday, Piotr Olewinski of Norwalk won $30,000 playing a "30X CASH 7th Edition" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Belltown Superette in Stamford.
