Press release from Irving Independent School District: March 2, 2021 Enrolling your child in Irving ISD PreK is one of the best decisions you can make! We provide our 3-and 4-year-olds with the best learning tools to ensure they are prepared for kindergarten and beyond. Every classroom has a certified teacher and instructional aide, who provide engaging, hands-on lessons. Additionally, we offer bilingual programs for English and Spanish speakers. Best of all, students are learning in a caring environment that focuses on their social and emotional well-being. Three-year-olds can benefit from free, half-day PreK, which includes free breakfast or lunch; highly experienced, certified teachers and instructional aides in each classroom. Students will attend one of our early childhood schools (ECS): Clifton, Kinkeade or Pierce. Four-year-olds can benefit from free, full-day PreK or tuition-based PreK, which includes free breakfast and lunch and highly experienced, certified teachers and instructional aides. Students will attend one of our 20 elementary schools. If you'd like to learn more about PreK, attend one of our virtual parent info sessions on Tuesday, March 9, or Tuesday, March 23, from 6 – 7 PM.
