Austin City Limits Music Fest To Host In-Person Event In October

AUSTIN, TX — Austin City Limits Music Festival will host an in-person event in 2021 after canceling its 2020 festival due to COVID-19. The music festival announced over the weekend on its web page it will host the two-weekend event on Oct. 1-3 and Oct. 8-10 at Zilker Park in downtown Austin. "We can't wait to see you ...back in Zilker Park. Until then, stay safe, take care of each other," the website statement said. The festival encourages people to sign up for updates on its website about this year's festival. At this time, tickets for the event are not yet on sale. The festival said on its Facebook page in July 2020 festival goers who purchased tickets for the event in 2020 will have access to the 2021 event at 2019 prices. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 ACL music festival was a virtual event held from Oct. 9-11 and featured free broadcasts of famous sets from ACLs in the past. The 2021 festival will mark ACL's 20th anniversary.
