Join us for an outdoor concert celebrating our 2020/21 Concerto Competition winners and a season full of musical accomplishments. After an extraordinary year full of challenges, the Spartanburg Philharmonic Youth Orchestra is feeling "On Top of The World" and ready to celebrate a season full of accomplishments. This family-friendly outdoor concert features the Junior and Senior ensembles, both separately and as a mighty combined orchestra. You'll also enjoy solos by our 2021/22 Concerto Competition winners - Hayden Green, violin, and Marqual Littlejohn, trumpet. We hope you can join us on the lawn at Converse College this April 25th. Admission is free, but please register if you'd like to attend. We also hope you consider a donation to support the Spartanburg Philharmonic Youth Orchestra program and the talented students it serves. All seating first come, first served on the grass. See a map of the campus. What To Bring:Bring chairs, blankets, even a picnic - whatever you'd like to make your concert experience even better. Safety Precautions:Masks: All concert-goers are required to wear a mask for the duration of the concert. Social Distancing: All groups should sit a minimum of 6 feet away from the next group. Self-Screening: We ask that everyone take a quick self-screening test for COVID-19 symptoms before arriving for the concert. Please do not attend if you exhibit symptoms. Click HERE for self-check.
