Austin PD Seek Help ID'ing Suspects In Teller Bar Shooting

AUSTIN, TX — Austin police are seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects involved in a shooting that took place at a downtown Austin bar Wednesday. Authorities said police received a call around 2:15 a.m. Wednesday at Teller's Bar, 607 Trinity Street, after two men were denied entry to the bar. After being denied entry, one man displayed a handgun and threatened the lives of multiple bar employees and patrons, officials said. The two men left the area after the driver, with whom they arrived with, was arrested on unrelated charges. Before 5 a.m., the two men returned in a Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV. According to a video released by police, the driver pulls the car into the alley next to Teller's Bar and a man wearing a white hoodie and shorts exits the car and fires multiple shot at a nearby car, which belonged to a bar employee. A woman, who was asleep in the car, was struck by one of the gun rounds, officials said. The woman was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities said the incident was an unprovoked attack and ask the public's help in identifying the suspect's vehicle or the suspects. The community is asked to not approach the men but to call 9-1-1 immediately.
