Austin PD Identify Man Who Died In Crash At Tuscany Way

AUSTIN, TX — A man who died in a car crash in Northeast Austin has been identified, officials said. Austin police announced Monday Armando Garcia-Sanchez died Wednesday after his car crashed with a semi-truck in the 9000 block of Tuscany Way. Officials said Garcia-Sanchez was driving a brown, 2013 Honda Pilot when his car collided with an orange, 2009 Volvo semi-truck. Garcia-Sanchez died at the scene. Authorities said the truck driver was not harmed. Police said investigators are seeking answers as to what led to the cause of the fatal crash.
