Description
MAHWAH, NJ — Students in Mahwah returned for in-person learning this week, with a plan for five days a week set for the remainder of the school year. But spring break travel could change that.
Specifically, Mahwah administrators said Tuesday, undisclosed spring break travel.
Mahwah administrators sent a letter to the community asking that all students and families properly disclose any spring break travel to the district, so a quarantine period can be instituted.
"As spring break approaches, we would like to emphasize the importance of disclosing any travel plans to any area outside of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Delaware. Travel has the potential to spread variants that are resistant to vaccinations or previous positivity," they wrote.
"Keeping your plans a secret or refusing to adhere to our district's travel guidelines serve no positive purpose for our staff members' and students' wellness or education."Click here for the full travel advisory protocol.
