INTERLAKEN, CA — The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office said it is investigating a homicide after a 55-year-old man died at the scene of a reported family disturbance. The incident was reported around 9:40 p.m. in the 100 block of Delaney Avenue in the Interlaken area. Detectives have identified a suspect and say that person knew the victim, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. Detectives are looking into the suspect's location and motive.
